My name is Emma, I am seventeen years old, and a junior at Hampshire High School. I am a member of DECA and Drama club. While I am at home I like to watch television, get on the internet and talk to friends, and every so often I will spend time with my family. My interests include rock music, learning how to play the guitar, watching movies, hanging out with my friends, traveling, and acting. I also like when I can get out by myself and drive anywhere. I like to get out and have as much fun as possible and be an open-minded and fun person. The things I find uninteresting would be, rap music, reading books when I have to, school, and most sports. I love to find out and experience new things and I enjoy learning something new everyday. This makes life more interesting and keeps you guessing. I would like to be a participant in this exchange program because I believe this opportunity me a great learning and adventurous experience. I would like to travel to Italy because I have always wanted to go to a foreign country and this would be my perfect chance. I like to learn about different cultures and watch the lifestyles of others. This would give me the chance to do both. I think this would be a fun and interesting experience. It would help me to meet new people, see my foreign exchange student again, and it would definitely go down as a time I'll never forget. If I were to travel to Italy I believe this would help me gain awareness of what is going on in another country and a different part of the world. I could also see how different countries gain different perspectives just by their location and culture affecting their point of views.
