I’m an Italian boy that live in the north of Italy, in the Po Valley, in a  town near Torino: Vercelli. I like my city because it is a quiet place; I dislike caotic cities. I have a strong patriotic spirit; from this point of view I admire the Americans very much because they are a united and proud people. In my free time I love going out with my friends; I read a lot of books of history and  some critical essays. I listen to a lot of music, but just italian music. My favourite singer is Roberto Vecchioni; I think that he isn’t very famous overseas.

I have a great passion for every political discussion; I’m busy in voluntary service. I’m a practising Roman Catholic.

I love football: in addition to our National team, I root for Juventus FC, the team of Torino. I play football, but not in an agonistic club. My favourite sport, apart from football, is skiing. Sometimes, in the winter, I take part in skiing competitions. In television I follow every race of Formula One and naturally I support Michael Shumacher and the Ferrari team.

I have a  rather introvert character but generally  I socialize well with people of my age, both with boys and with girls. I don’t like incoherent and haughty people. I love simplicity and sincerity.

I like eating every kind of food; I like drinking every strong or soft drink. I study English and French, but I speak French better. I hope to improve my English  during my next stay in the United States of America.
